BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A man was shot and killed Monday in Southwest Baltimore, marking the city's 344th murder of 2019.
It happened around 11:20 a.m. in the 2000 block of Eagle Street.
The victim was found at the location with gunshot wounds to the body, and later died at an area hospital.
WMAR-2 News cameras captured crime scene technicians inside a corner mini mart.
It's unclear if the incident took place inside the store.
Police haven't released any information on what may have led to the shooting or suspects possibly involved.
The incident adds to a Baltimore record already set this year for most murders per capita.
