Muslims across the country are condemning the mass shooting that took place in Orlando Sunday, and supporting the victims and their families.
Here in Baltimore, local Muslims said the massacre was about hate and not religion.
A gunman killed 50 people and critically wounded dozens inside of a gay nightclub in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Law enforcement officials said the gunman, Omar Mateen, pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State in a 911 call shortly before the attack.
He died after exchanging gunfire with SWAT team members.
