BALTIMORE, Md. — Mayor Jack Young thanked three top donors to YouthWorks on Thursday. The Annie E. Casey Foundation, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America helped get hundreds of youths jobs.

More than 8,000 Baltimore residents between the ages of 14 and 21 will work for companies and businesses around the city, providing them skills to one day get a more permanent job.

There were around 11,000 applicants for YouthWorks this summer, so the program is still accepting sponsors.

The five week session runs July 1 through August 2.
