As the holidays approach remembering those less fortunate is on most people's minds, especially those who served our country.
Tuesday the Maryland Masons made sure our veterans were cared for, hosting their third annual "Lunch for Homeless Veterans."
Along with lunch, vets were given haircuts, clothing and gift bags.
Stratford University chefs prepared meals for more than 300 people and those who served, like Muhammad Ferguson it's a blessing to have.
"Well, it caught me by surprise, but I'm glad to be here, it means a lot," Ferguson said. "Just the gratitude of being from my past as a veteran and the service the people are helping me with."
The event also brought in cadets from Morgan State University to help out.
