Maryland residents' must feel lucky, as they helped set new records for Maryland Lottery and Gaming, which generated $1.252 billion of revenue for the state in fiscal year 2018, the commission said.
The Maryland Lottery hit $2.043 billion in sales, a new high water mark in its history, also setting a new record profit of $575.6 million, Maryland Lottery and Gaming said.
All six Maryland casinos operated for a full fiscal year in FY2018. They combined to set a new record of $1.679 billion in gaming revenue, an increase of 18.2 percent over last year.
