Man went into surgery after being shot in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that injured a man on the city's west side.

At 10:39 p.m., police were called to a shooting in the 3300 block of Windsor Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

According to the department, the victim was taken to an area hospital where he was immediately taken into surgery.

Detectives leading the investigation said they are currently looking for witnesses.
