BALTIMORE, Md. — Police are investigating after a man was shot in Southwest Baltimore.
On Tuesday at about 9:50 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Poplar Grove Street for a shotspotter alert.
When officers arrived, they found a crime scene but no victims.
While canvassing the area, officers were notified that a shooting victim had just arrived at an area hospital. That victim, a 56 year-old man, was shot in the abdomen and is in serious condition.
