BALTIMORE, Md. (WMAR) — Rodney Smith Jr. is bringing Christmas to homeless people in every state, and on Friday he landed in his 42nd stop—Baltimore.

When he got here he found Mr. Holmes who has been homeless for six year and sleeps on a bench most nights.

After talking with him he brought him over a sleeping bag, a backpack full of supplies, and other items all wrapping up.

He then grabs a small tree out of his car and sits with Mr. Holmes while he unwraps the presents.

He doesn’t leave it at that, he asked Holmes what he wants for Christmas.

Holmes told him he wanted a cell phone so he could reach out to his family.

About an hour later Smith Jr. came back with a cell phone, gift cards, a suitcase for his belongings and two surprises that left Holmes amazed.

“I got you $100 cash,” Smith said. “You got to be crazy, thank you so much,” said Holmes.
When Smith Jr. told him he had one more gift Holmes couldn’t believe it.

“Three nights in a hotel right here at the Sleep Inn,” said Smith. “ Three nights? Woo how about that. Thank you, for real? Wow that’s alright.”

Smith Jr. does this all through donations made on his social media pages.

In the summer he goes to all the states mowing lawns for veterans and the elderly with his company Raising Men Lawn Care Service.

He also encourages youth to get involved mowing lawns and helping other through Raising Men.
