Man injured after being shot in Southeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE — A man was injured and rushed into surgery after being shot in Southeast Baltimore.

On Saturday, at about 11:38 p.m., Southeast District officers were called to the 400 block of South Broadway Street to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say the victim was shot in the 300 block of South Dallas Court then drove himself to the Broadway Street location and collapsed.

Two handguns were found by his vehicle.

The victim was taken to an area hospital an was rushed into surgery.

Southeast District Shooting detectives were summoned to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
