Man grazed by bullet while driving in West Baltimore, crashes car on the way to hospital

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a shooting on the city's west-side.

At 10:30 a.m., a Shot Spotter alert called for officers to respond to the 2800 block of Woodbrook Avenue. When officers arrived, they could not find a victim.

Moments later, police were notified about a victim with graze wound to his head at a local hospital. According to police, the 21-year-old man told officers he was shot while driving his car on Reisterstown Road at Fulton Avenue.

The department said he tried to drive to the hospital after the shooting but crashed his car. He later caught a ride to the hospital.
