BALTIMORE — A man has been arrested after a woman was shot in the torso and face back in September.

53-year-old Darryl Scott was arrested while exiting him home in the 1700 block of Ashburton Street on Thursday night.

On September 27, police received an anonymous call about a woman who had been shot in the 2800 block of Walbrook Avenue. When they got to the scene they found a 34-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso and face.

The woman was taken to the hospital where she spoke to detectives.

After speaking with the victim, police were able to identify and put out an arrest warrant for Scott.

Scott is being charged with first-degree attempted murder and is waiting to see a court commissioner.
