The highest ranking officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray will receive more than $100,000 in back pay.

The Baltimore City Board of Estimates is set to approve a payment of $126,916 to Lt. Brian Rice on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

He was suspended without pay starting May 1, 2015 when he was charged by the state's attorney office in Gray's death. Rice was acquitted of all charges on July 18 and his pay suspension ended. However, he still faces an administrative review.
