Ronald McDonald Charities of Maryland is lighting up a 26-foot glowing red heart atop the new Ronald McDonald House located on 1 Aisquith Street in Jonestown.
The Heart is the signature of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Maryland, where families come to Baltimore to stay while their children are treated at area hospitals
The 'Big Red Heart' will officially be lit on Friday evening and will bright up the Baltimore skyline every night and can be seen from different areas around the city.
The new Ronald McDonald House is scheduled to open in Spring 2019.
