The lights are off and the art structures are coming down.

But organizers say that's not going to dim the success of the Baltimore's first Light City event.

Organizers estimate more than 400,000 people endured rains and winds to enjoy the free 50 illuminated experiences that took over much of the Inner Harbor last week.

Wiith 28 visual artworks, a hundred musical and street theater performances and 50 concerts, organizers and city leaders are proud of what the artists were able to create.

Meetings, planning sessions and fundraising efforts are already underway for the 2017 event.

An economic business survey will be published within the coming weeks.
