A man accused of killing a teenage girl is heading to trial for the third time.

But this time a Baltimore Circuit Court judge will decide Michael Johnson's fate.

He's charged with killing Phylicia Barnes, back in 2010.

She disappeared while visiting family in Baltimore. Her body was later found in the Susquehanna River.

A jury convicted Johnson in his first trial, a judge acquitted him in his second. Both rulings have been overturned.

The trial is underway this week. Johnson waved his right to a jury trial.
