A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit Friday accusing the Black Lives Matter movement and several of its leaders, including Baltimore's DeRay Mckesson, of inciting violence.
The judge determined that lawyer's for a Baton Rouge sheriff's deputy injured in an attack last year, failed to state a plausible claim against the movement.
Mckesson and the others involved in the suit may receive up to $1,000 in cash in a class-action settlement.
