Jewish Volunteer Connection and members of the community united to help Hurricane Harvey victims, while cheering on the Baltimore Ravens Sunday afternoon.
During the Ravens home opener people had the opportunity to write notes of encouragement to individuals affected by the devastation of Harvey and create toy for animals displaced.
Jewish Volunteer Connection also collected Target and Walmart gift cards to be sent to Texas for distribution.
This kicked off Jewish Volunteer Connection annual day of service. The group host four days of service throughout the year where the community can come together to volunteer their time and services for great causes.
