Deadly Hurricane Matthew has washed ashore Haiti, and the Category 4 storm has already claimed several lives.
Several organizations have stepped up to help.
Baltimore-based Catholic Relief Services is collecting donations, which can be made online, or sent by mail to P.O. Box 17090, Baltimore, Md., 21297-0303. Indicate Hurricane Matthew in the memo.

Lutheran World Relief in Baltimore is also mobilizing emergency relief in collaboration with the ACT Alliance, a global faith-based humanitarian coalition, and local partners. The group is also making plans to assist farmers in the north whose crops will likely be damaged in the storm.
