Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off event to take place July 10, 11

BALTIMORE — Baltimore City Department of Public Works Acting Director Matthew W. Garbark is reminding residents that the Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off event for July will occur on Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11.

Residents who attend are asked to wear a face covering and stay in their vehicles. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on both days, July 10 and 11, at the Northwest Citizens' Convenience Center, located at 2840 Sisson Street.

Household hazardous waste includes materials such as household cleaning products, bleach, ammonia, batteries, solvents, oil-based paint, etc. Latex paint is not considered hazardous and should be dried out and disposed of with your regular trash, or donated.
