A group of cyclists inspired by the deadly shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut will be in Baltimore Monday.

The group Team 26 is made up of 26 riders, representing the 20 children and 6 adults killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012.

They started the 400-mile journey in Newtown, Connecticut and are heading to D.C.

This year Team 26 is calling for a ban on assault weapons, more background checks on people who buy guns and making the legal age to buy any gun 21.

The group plans to stop in Baltimore at the War Memorial Plaza between 4-4:30 p.m.
