Harvest Fare supermarket celebrated its grand opening Wednesday at Northwest Plaza.

The locally owned and operated full-service grocery store has been open to the public since its soft opening in September.

Baltimore city councilman Isaac Schleifer says the market has had a positive response from the community and has filled a big void of food and jobs in northwest Baltimore.

One of the highlights of the market is its seafood market.

Harvest Fare Wabash is the supermarket chain's third location in Baltimore, it joins other Harvest Fare supermarkets in the Hamilton and Fallston neighborhoods.
