The people have complained, got their tires ruined and may have even caused damages to their cars because of the rugged road on the Hanover Street Bridge.
Now, The Baltimore City Department of Transportation is ready to shut it down for a weekend and start some repair work.
DOT says during the closure, structure adjustments will be made and the bridge will be resurfaced in order to provide an improved riding surface.
Detour signs will be posted in the area during the closure. Motorists traveling in the area should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
The bridge will be closed for resurfacing from Friday, July 20 at 8 pm through Monday, July 23 at 5 am.
