Gas leak, power outage cause early dismissals at two Baltimore City Schools

BALTIMORE — Two Baltimore City Schools are closed due to utility issues, Baltimore City Schools announced Monday morning.

Reginald F. Lewis High School, Achievement Academy, and Success Academy were evacuated following a suspected gas leak. The school will dismissed at 10 a.m.

Beechfield Elementary/Middle School will dismiss students at 10:45 a.m. due to a power outage, the school district said.
