BALTIMORE — A Baltimore community came together to help an officer who was shot outside his home.

Frank's Pizza and Pasta in Northeast Baltimore held a fundraiser on Saturday, to help Sergeant Isaac Carrington with his medical costs.

"He's been in and out of the hospital. And he's a customer of ours, so we just wanted to help him in some small ways, and his family. And we could ask for continues prayers." said the owners of Frank's Pizza and Pasta.

Carrington is still recovering from the August shooting, when a man tried to rob him and his neighbor and shot Carrington as he ran away.

The two men were arrested and charged a month later.
