A Code Blue Alert has been extended in Baltimore City.

Frigid temperatures prompted officials to issue the warning for residents.

The cold weather did not stop hundreds of people from attending New Year's celebrations at the Inner Harbor.

The events started at 9 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said the Code Blue will be in effect until tomorrow.

If you know anyone without heat or power, call 311 to get help from the city.
