BALTIMORE — A man who used to play a detective on HBO's 'The Wire' escaped Baltimore Police custody last week.
Investigators say Christopher Clanton Sr. was arrested last Thursday for violating a protective order.
Before he was booked, he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for a pre-existing medical condition. Clanton escaped from the hospital Friday and is still missing.
He has three other pending criminal cases and is frequently seen in the Harford Road corridor.
Clanton played 'Savino Bratton' on two seasons of HBO's series 'The Wire.'
