Former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake launched a consulting firm in an effort to help future leaders, cities, and growing businesses throughout the country.

Wednesday afternoon, the new firm, SRB and Associates launched just two weeks shy of Baltimore's new mayor's inauguration.

Mayor Catherine Pugh was sworn-into office Tuesday Dec. 6 at City Hall, where Rawlings-Blake was seen in attendance.

After the launch, new CEO, Rawlings-Blake sent an email to close friends about her latest endeavor:

"Twenty-one years ago, I was sworn in as a member of the Baltimore City Council. Since that time, I have been blessed to work every day for the city I love-to make it better, safer and stronger for the people I love. Together, with an amazing team in and out of government, we have made tremendous progress for Baltimore. As a council member, city council president and most recently as mayor, I have tackled the most intractable problems in American cities and have become a national leader.

As I begin the next chapter in my life, I am very proud to introduce you to my latest endeavor, SRB & Associates. Launched today, my firm will leverage the contacts and context that I have developed to find winning solutions for cities, businesses, campaigns and the individuals who will move our country forward. From sharing my experience with city leaders to strategic planning for businesses to campaign consulting for candidates, SRB & Associates brings a track record of success.

Have a joy filled holiday season and much success in the New Year".

An advisor working closely with Rawlings-Blake said that the firm went officially public Wednesday afternoon and would not disclose clients or associates at this time.
