The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police spoke out Thursday on an email in which an officer called Black Lives Matter protesters "thugs."

Gearhart, the FOP's vice president, was suspended after sending an email referring to members of the Black Lives Matter movement as "thugs" to the entire police force.
