Cooking food is an art. It takes studying and practice, but it also takes management and patience. Twelve weeks, that is how long it took a group of students to master the craft at FoodWorks.
They graduated the course Friday that is offered through the Maryland Food Bank.
The graduates learned a wide range of culinary techniques, gained valuable knowledge of nutrition and menu planning, and were certified as food safety experts.
The Maryland Food Bank will help each graduate find their first job to kick-star their culinary career.
