Firefighter injured while battling two alarm house fire in Northwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WMAR) — A city firefighter is hospitalized after battling a two alarm blaze at a home in Northwest Baltimore.

The incident occurred on Sunday at around 3:30 p.m. at 3266 West Forest Park Avenue.

Officials say the two and a half story wooden framed house was vacant.

The injured firefighter was transported to Shock Trauma and is expected to survive.

It's unclear of what type of injury was sustained.
