BALTIMORE, Md. — A fire in a West Forest Park apartment building displacing a dozen people is under control.

But residents of the Windsor Arms Apartments tucked away in West Forest park felt anything but on Friday afternoon.

Luckily for Rodney, her unit was at the very end of the row and unaffected. But many of the 12 people from the four apartments that did get damage -- were milling around in the front of the complex.

Firefighters say it took about 20 minutes to put out the fire, but now the work begins to figure out how it started and how to help the people displaced.

"We really have no cause for it. We have fib on the scene. They are currently investigating, we also have personnel on the scene along with their management who are going to relocate them now. We are currently finding them another place to relocate to," said Battalion Chief John Ellis.

Baltimore Fire says they did not have to transport anyone with injuries from this fire and that everyone made it out safe.

"Thank God no one was hurt. That is the good part so, thank God for that."
