Holy Frijoles, a popular Mexican restaurant located in Hampden, caught fire early Monday morning. Employees of a nearby Royal Farms gas station called 911 around 3:15 a.m. when they noticed the fire.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and put the fire out quickly. No one was in the building when it caught fire, and no one was hurt during the incident.

The fire left smoke damage, broken glass and charring throughout the building. The cause is still under investigation.

Holy Frijoles is located at 908 W. 36th St. in Baltimore.
