A fire broke out at an apartment complex in southwest Baltimore early Tuesday.
Crews responded to 533 Coventry Road in the Beechfield neighborhood around 1:30 a.m.
Fire officials said when they arrived, flames could be seen from the 2nd floor of a 2-story apartment building.
The fire started in the kitchen of an apartment unit.

Three apartments were occupied at the time. Residents were able to escape safely.
No injuries reported and Neighborhood Services were called to the scene.
