A steam pipe explosion on S. Eutaw Street between Lombard and Pratt streets caused road closures and delays Tuesday evening.
Firefighters said the explosion happened around 6 p.m. Steam billowed into the air just down the street from Camden Yards, just 75 minutes before the Orioles' opening pitch.

Five people were injured. They were treated with non-life threatening injuries.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area. Delays should be expected on both Pratt and Lombard streets
