The warning period is almost over on Interstate 95.

Starting Monday, speed cameras will start issuing $40 citations on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Fort McHenry Tunnel and Moravia Road.

Fines will be issued if drivers go over 12 or more miles per hour over the 50 mile per hour speed limit.

MDTA says a speed trailer will be on hand to alert drivers of their speed.

The stretch of construction is expected to be completed next summer.
