A Southwest Baltimore crash leaves one man dead and a woman injured.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Cherry Hill Road for a reported crash around 3:46 a.m.
On the scene, investigators determined a single vehicle accident occurred.
According to reports, the vehicle was traveling west bound down Cherry Hill lane when it lost control and crossed the double yellow lines.
After which, the vehicle crashed into a BGE poll.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The 50-year-old man died at shock trauma due to his injuries.
The driver, a 53-year-old woman, is still in hospital care after sustaining abdominal injuries.
