Fire officials say an elderly man died Saturday morning in a house fire in Northeast Baltimore.
Firefighters responded to a two-story rowhome in the 1900 block of Hillenwood Road at 5:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, officials found smoke coming from the first floor of the home and were able to extinguish the blaze within minutes.
An elderly man was found dead in the home. No other injuries have been reported.
The fire is currently under investigation.
