BALTIMORE — Lifestyle retailer DTLR stopped by the Maryland Center for Veterans Education & Training, Inc (MCVET) and spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day serving lunch and spending time with homeless veterans.
"We do this year-round, but we just wanted to do something a little special for MLK Day and that's to service the vets, especially with what's going on in the world today. A lot of our vets are forgotten," said Tremayne Lipscomb of DTLR.
In addition to lunch, bags with new clothes, shoes and toiletries were given handed out to the homeless veterans.
