Dr. Bill Howard, former football team doctor at Gilman, has died. He was 82.
Howard grew up in Harford County where he got his hair cut before the crack of dawn at the same Bel Air barber.
He served as football team doctor for more than 30 years and in 1979, started the Arnold Palmer Sports Health Center.
He was also in charge of the emergency room at Union Memorial, the same hospital where he was born.
