A mural of a Baltimore Pop Culture icon is here to stay.
The city's Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation or CHAP voted to preserve the Divine Mural known as 'I'm So Beautiful.'
The two-story image is painted on the side of a historic building in Mount Vernon.
It was painted this fall, but without a permit.
The CHAP granted it a retroactive permit which means it is allowed to stay.
Jesse Salazar, who commissioned the mural told WMAR-2 News that it was intended to be a unifying symbol of the best of Baltimore.
