Friday is the deadline for Baltimore districts to tally up their votes and verify the Nov. 8 election results.
The count will show the number of votes received by Baltimore mayoral write-in candidate Sheila Dixon.

Dixon lost to Democratic rival and Baltimore Mayor-Elect Catherine Pugh in the April primaries, but launched a write-in campaign in October.

More than 47,000 people voted for a write-in candidate during the election, but even if Dixon received each one of those votes, it will not be enough to beat Pugh who received nearly 120,000 votes.
