Baltimore Fire crews battled a 2-alarm fire in the 1200 block of south Clinton Street Thursday night.
The fire affected multiple row homes in Canton, and there was a massive response from the Baltimore City firefighters.
Two families were forced from their homes, and a 60-year-old was injured after she had to jump from her building to escape. A man who was believed to be her son made it out safely.
When crews arrived to the scene, they found flames that were five and 10 feet high blowing through the roof and second floor windows of the building. Firefighters tried to get inside, but were forced to evacuate because of unsafe conditions.
The woman was taken to the hospital as a precaution. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
