Crews battled a two-alarm fire at the former Sojourner-Douglass College in Baltimore Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported Friday afternoon in the 200 block of N. Central Ave, according to the Baltimore City Fire Department.
The fire originated on the third floor of the vacant building. It was placed under control within 35 minutes.
Someone passing by reported hearing a loud explosion before seeing fire come from the building. No one was injured in the fire.
