BALTIMORE — Flooding forced a Baltimore City Circuit Court House to evacuate Thursday afternoon.

According to Major Sabrina Tapp-Harper of the Baltimore City Sheriff's Office, the flooding stemmed from a sink issue inside one of the women's bathrooms at Court House East.

From there, water leaked through the elevator shaft and all the way to the ground floor causing the flood.

Tapp-Harper said the court house will re-open Friday at 9 a.m. It's recommended that anyone due in court call before showing up, to insure there are no delays.
