BALTIMORE — Community members weighed in on the redevelopment process of Lexington Market on Wednesday in the second in a series of community meetings.
Wednesday's meeting focused on the design aspect.
"If this is going to be successful its not only what the customers want and need," said Pickett Slater Harrington, Seawall Community Engagement. "It's also using the wisdom and experience of vendors who's been in the space and seen the market in its highs and lows and taking that feedback to make a fair and equitable process that works for everybody"
The next meeting will be held on February 5. Officials hope to have the project completed by the Summer of 2021.
