Community members are all hands on deck Thursday evening for an emergency meeting to talk about the future of Engine Company No.46.

This firehouse serves the Coppin Heights, Harlem Park, Mondawmin, and Forest Park neighborhoods. And the latest news is that the firehouse is expecting a shutdown.

The Council President Jack Young and Chief Niles Ford came together, toured the firehouse to come up with ideas to better serve the community.

Thursday at 7 p.m. at Langston Hughes Community Center on Arbutus Avenue, the community will learn the outcome of Engine Company No.46.
