A Code Orange Air Quality Alert has been issued for Baltimore City, said the Maryland Department of the Environment.
Health officials warn that due to extreme heat and humidity, the elderly, young, or those with respiratory issues may experience breathing issues and should remain indoors if possible and avoid prolonged, heavy exertion.
