City Council to review bill on Airbnb regulations

The Baltimore City council is set to discuss a bill that would impose stricter rules on Airbnb and other related sites.

If the bill passes, it would impose the City's 9.5% hotel tax on the rentals.

The new bill would also require hosts to register with Baltimore City and pay an annual $100 fee.

Under this proposal, people could rent out a single house or apartment that's not their permanent residence for 60 days a year.
