Local tattoo artists, businesses, college students and more are coming together on Thursday to help keep families together during a medical crisis.
Proceeds from the 'Get on Board' Skate Deck Art Show will go to the Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation.
According to the organizations website,
"Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation provides exceptional hospital and respite housing services to critically ill children and their families. Our unique programs bring comfort, hope, and joy to children and their families, enabling them to renew their spirits mentally and physically."
The art show will showcase over 35 skateboards that are uniquely designed by artists from across town. The goal is to raise $5,000 for the organization.
The event was organized in an effort to showcase Baltimore artists' talent, as well as create comradery among local businesses in the Canton Square, and give back to an organization that helps people in the community.
The $10 donation entry fee will get you five raffle tickets for a chance at prizes and gift cards to local restaurants and tattoo parlors.
The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 3000 O'Donnell Street in Canton.
