Friends and family of Erin Drumm have launched a campaign to name the newest turtle at the National Aquarium ED in her honor.
Erin, 16, of Bel Air passed away just 10 days after being diagnosed with leukemia.
“Erin loved turtles and we loved Erin,” Aqua Culture Swim School wrote on its Facebook page. “Aqua Culture has contacted the aquarium about adding ED to the list of names for voting, but lets make sure they do by flooding the name idea process. This is a 2 part process, first we need to get ED on the voting list then we need to vote the name in. Please submit the name ED and then watch for information on the voting process."
